Mickie James Career

Mickie started her wrestling career, working as a valet for KYDA Pro Wrestling in Manassas, VA, in 1999. Mickie started her career in the PR business and has worked with some of topmost stars such as Corino, Tommy Dreamer, etc. Now Mickie loves to wrestle and enters the ring against both, men and women. Mickie’s big win came when she defeated Sean Lei.

Mickie has always been on the PR front, she has taken part in many promotions including the all-female promotion Beautiful Babes of Wrestling or BBOW, Professional Girl Wrestling Association (PGWA), Dangerous Women of Wrestling (DWOW) and Women's Extreme Wrestling (WEW). Mickie has appeared in NWA TNA, and was known in the ring as Laree Alexis, in an all-women’s Lingerie Battle Royal. Mickie has been in a tag team match with Kid Kash and Trinity. Mickie has also won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which she was pitted against Raven. WWE offered Mickie a developmental contract and signed her up, sending her to work at Ohio Valley Wrestling farm, on August 18, 2003.

Mickie’s debut on RAW was on October 10, 2005. Mickie also was a participant in Diva Halloween Costume Contest, “Fulfill Your Fantasy”, Diva Battle Royal. Mickie loves Trish and wants to have relationship with her, this did not stop her at WrestleMania 22 where she won her first Women’s Championship after defeating Trish and Mick Kick. Mickie was beat by Lita and lost the title to Lita on 14th August 2006. Mickie took the title back by defeating Lita in Lita’s retirement match. Mickie defeated Victoria and was successful in defending her title in 2007.
