He is also an American actor and was born on December 18, 1964. William played football for North Taxes State University. William married with his school girlfriend, but later separated. Then he marriaged with Jeannie Clarke, but divorced in 1999 and in 2000, he married to Debra Marshall. He used his real name Steve William when he started his wrestling career. But he changed his name to Steve Austin which is relative to his hometown, because there was already a wrestler of this name. He made his debut in 1989 and he worked for many promotions like World Championship Wrestling, ECW and World Wrestling Entertainment. He got retired from the ring due to many injuries. Early Life And Career He made his wrestling career in 1980 in Taxes by taking part in World Class Championship Wrestling. Austin got early training by Chris Adam. Austin worked for USWA for one year, most of the moment either teaming or disputing with his trainer Adams. It was also the reality that Austin in actual life was meeting Adams' ex-wife Jeannie. World Championship Wrestling Austin made his WCW career in 1991 as Steve Austin and Lady Blossom was his manager. In Birmingham on June 3, 1991 he beaten Bobby Eton for the WCW World Television Championship, but on April 27, 1992 in a match he lost the title to Windham. But later on May 23, he won the title again. Later on September 2, he lost it to Ricky Steamboat. He teamed with Brain Pillman named Hollywood Blondes and on March 3, 1993 the won the WCW World Tag Team Title. They held this title for six months and became popular among fans and Austin’s wallpapers and video of this match became available on different websites. The Blondes lost the match against Rick Flair and Arn Anderson in the match at Clash of the Championship, but they were not given the title.
They defend their title Clash of the Championship against Anderson and hi new associate Paul Roma, but later Pillman became injured and was replaced by Steve Regal, but Austin won the match. Austin won the single match against Pillman at Clash of the Champions. Austin became the WCW United States Champion after wining the match against Dustin Rhodes in 1993, but later on August 42, 1994 he was defeated by Ricky and lost the title. In a rematch with Steamboat Austin was awarded the title because, Steamboat was unable to play the match because of his back injury.
Extreme Championship Wrestling Eric Bischoff fired the Steve Austin from the WCW in 1995. Paul Heyman called him for the WCW. While with ECW, Steve feuded with The Sandman and Mikey Whipwreck, who was the ECW World Heavyweight title holder at the time, got a win over Austin. After a Year, Paul Heyman declared that he formerly wanted to hardback Austin to win the World Championship. World Wrestling Federation Austin signed with WWF in 1996 and his manager was Ted DiBiase, who gave him the “Million Dollar Championship belt”. He changed his name to “Stone Gold Steve Austin” with the advice of his wife. Austin lost a "Caribbean Strap Match" to Savio Vega at In Your House 8. on June 23, 1996 Austin won the King of the ring match . Austin 3:16 became the popular logo in the history of wrestling. Austin challenged Hart and he accepted Austin's challenge and at Survivor Series 1996, Hart stuck Austin which helped make the basics for the ultimate intense year-long feud between the two. Austin won the Royal Rumble contest in January 1997. He was eradicated by Bret Hart, but officials were unable to see it. At Wrestlemania 13, Austin got defeated by Bret Hart in March 1997. one of the main feature of the Austin’s character was that he was the broker of the rules, thus he became the “anti-hero” of his fans, he gain popularity ang his wallpapers and photos became available for his spactators. During his feud with Bret Hart he bacame the WWE Champion, but he lost the title against The Undertaker. In 1997 at Summerslam, Austin challenged Owen Hart fo rhis Intercontinental Championship. In 1998 Austin won the Royal Rumble match, after that at WrestleMania XIV he won the first WWE Championship of his career against Shawn Michaels with the help of Mike Tyson. At this piont one of his fans introduces online galleries of Austin’s photos and his half naked pictures. In April 1998, he defended his title successfully against Dude Love. In King of the Ring Tournament Stone Cold lost the title to Kane. Later Austin was awarded the vacant WWE Championship by the Shane McMahon. At Valentine’s Day, in a steel cage Stone Cold got a one-on-one match against Mr. McMahon, for the WWF championship opportunity, but Stone Cold was attacked by Paul Wight. Later on RAW Austin lost the title against The Undertaker, but he regains the title after some time. Austin was promoted to the Chief Executive Officer of the company by Linda McMahon. But he was challenged by Mr. McMahon for a Handicap Match at King of the Ring for the CEO title. At SummerSlam 1999 he lost the Championship to Triple H. Austin got Knee injury and got out of action for several months. Ten months later he appeared in a match and interrupted the match and helped the Rock for the WWF championship. In January 2001, Austin won his 3rd Royal Rumble title. At WrestleMania X-Seven won the WWF Championship against The Rock. He teamed with the Triple H and won the WWF Tag Team Title at Backlash 2001 Stone Cold WWE career He made the return in WWE on February 2003, in a short match against Eric Bischoff. He lost the match against The Rock, which ultimately became his last official match in WWE to date. On November 16, 2003 he was fired for RAW, but he returned to RAW on December 29, 2003. In 2004 he appeared as a special guest in a match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Later in the year, he took part in the video films.On Monday Night RAW Vince McMahon told that Austin had been involved in an accident, thus preventing him to participate in matches. In March 2006 Austin faced JBL in a beer drinking competition at WWE Saturday Night show. Austin is wrongly listed in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records as containing the most reigns as WWE World Champion six times.
