Martin Wright, better known to the world as the eccentric WWE’s Boogeyman was born October 31, 1964. Boogeyman is an American professional wrestler. Boogeyman is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment wrestling on its ECW brand. Career Boogeyman (Martin Wright) Before becoming a professional wrestler, The Boogeyman had sought a career as an actor. The Boogeyman (Wright) has worked as an extra in movies like Any Given Sunday (1999), The Replacements (2000) as player #56, and in Transporter 2 (2005) as the SWAT commander. Boogeyman always wanted to be a professional bodybuilder. He did win some competitions, but the only recorded such victory was noted online in the 2002 National Wright began his career originally intending to be a professional bodybuilder. Tough Enough Boogeyman In 2004 Boogeyman had applied to take part in WWE’s Tough Enough IV. Boogeyman survived the first day of the two day selections only to be cut out from the prospectives of being one of the eight finalist’s at Tough Enough, this was because he had admitted to lying about his age which was 5 years past the contest’s cutoff of 35. Ohio Valley Wrestling Boogeyman The Boogeyman (Martin Wright) in 2005 was invited by WWE officials to come to the Ohio Valley Wrestling for possible reinstatement and training. His training period lasted from January 2005 to June 2005. Boogeman made his OVH debut on June 25, 2005. SmackDown! SmackDown! saw his The Boogeyman’s first appearance on October 13, 2005. However, his in-ring official debut was on December 2, 2005 SmackDown! where he defeated Simon Dean while screaming, “I’m the Boogeyman!” later during the same match The Boogeyman took handful of live worms from his pocket and ate them as commentators Michael Cole and Tazz screamed in disgust. The Boogeyma’s official pay-per-viewdebut was at Armageddon, pitched against Vito and Nunzio. 2006 saw The Boogeyman picking up the win, at the 2006 Royal Rumble, under two minutes. WWE’s Boogeyman went on to win at WrestleMania 22 this time around he was pitted against Booker T. Boogeyman later on tore his left biceps at a house show. On September 20, WWE made a statement, in which it was stated that The Boogeyman (Wright) had been let go citing the reason that The Boogeyman had been doing the bare minimum in regards of getting back into shape and had missed several doctor check ups. But hardly a month later, on October 6, 2006, it was announced that The Boogeyman (Wright) had be reinstated and would be trained under Booker T wrestling school in Houston, Texas. The Boogeyman made a re-debut on the October 27, 2006 SmackDown! and won another match at Amageddon pay per view. In 2007 The Boogeyman lost to Finlay. WWE’s Boogeyman introduced a little version of himself aptly titled, Little Boogeyman. Both, The Boogeyman and the little Boogeyman lost to Finlay and Hornswoggle in a mixed tag team match at No Way Out 2007. The Boogeyman appeared in a promo backstage at WrestleMania 23. The Boogeyman tried scaring Donald Trump, both being in the same room, in vain he was told by Mr. Trump to get him a sandwich. On OVW's 400th anniversary show, the Boogeyman made an appearance, losing to Ryan Wilson in a table match. On June 11 Boogeman was drafted to ECW as part of the WWE Draft. The Boogeyman Boogeybombed Matt Striker on June 12, 2007 taking a win home.
